Nutella Bread

My cousin Reena is getting married this weekend. Weddings for me are quality time with fun, family and food. I have had the most amazing few weeks with family and stuffing my face with yummy food! This recipe comes all the way from down under… Australia! It’s a combination recipe from my Aunty Pramila and my sister in-law Ushma. Ingredients

  • 1 pint Milk
  • 2 tsp Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 8 cups Plain flour
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tub Nutella Use as much as you want!

Instructions

  1. Warm milk for 40 seconds in a microwave or on a hob till warm
  2. To activate the yeast add 2 tbsp of sugar to the milk and 2 tsp of yeast. Wait 10 minutes till you see bubbles this means your yeast has been activated
  3. In a bowl add the plain flour salt and sunflower oil
  4. Make a well and start to pour the warm milk and mix the ingredients till you have bouncy dough leave for 50 minutes
  5. Cut and roll the dough into 3 handful balls
  6. Roll out flat like pizza
  7. Spread Nutella thinly (warm Nutella is easier to spread)
  8. Layer one on top of each other
  9. Put a small cup in middle
  10. Cut slices with a sharp knife form the middle cup out and then twist three times and join them all together
  11. Oven bake for 20 mins gas mark 5 allow to cool for a while and then serve warm enjoy.
