Ingredients

  • 2- cup corn meal flour
  • 2-3 tablespoon Chapati flour
  • 1- cup sour dahi (yogurt) -approximate
  • 1/2 - cup water-approximate
  • Ginger chilli paste as your taste
  • Salt, turmeric , coriander jeera powder sugar as your taste
  • 2-3 tablespoon oil
  • 1/4 spoon of bicarbonate soda
  • Fresh chopped coriander leaves, fenugreek leaves (about 1/4 cup each)
  • seasame seeds one tablespoon
  • half teaspoon Ajma
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

In bowl add both flour
Add all spices plus ginger chilli paste
Add 2-3 tablespoon oil
Add bicarbonate mix well
Add yogurt mix than add water and make dough
If dough is very hard than add little bit more yogurt. Try and keep dough like poori dough consistency (not soft)
Leave the dough for 12 hours keep in container cover and keep somewhere warm/dry place for fermentation. I kept mine in a warm oven
Next day make little ball in your hands
Put it between two greased plastic sheets and dab to make them flat
Keep oil on medium gas heat
Fry one at a time
