Chevdo is an Indian snack mix perfect for any time eating. I usually have this as a side with any meal or with a nice cup of Oat-milk Chai!

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup puffed oats (available in health food stores
- 1⁄2 cup puffed spelt (available in health food stores)
- 1⁄4 cup sunflower seeds 1⁄4 cup pumpkin seeds 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 1⁄2 tsp cumin powder 1⁄2 tsp chilli powder
- Bhel:
- 2 cups of sprouted lentils
- 2 chopped vine tomatoes 1 red pepper chopped
- 1⁄2 cup of fresh coriander chopped
- 1 cup of finely chopped bistro salad bag Sweetcorn kernels enough for a sprinkle 2 tbsp green chutney
- 2 tbsp red salsa or chutney Chaat masala to taste
- 1 cup of chevdo
Instructions
Chevdo:
- Heat oven to 150 degrees Celsius
- Lay out the puffed oats and spelt on an oven tray and add 1⁄4 teaspoon salt, cumin powder and chilli powder and mix
- Lay out the sunflower and pumpkin seeds on another oven tray an season with 1⁄4 teaspoon salt, cumin powder and chilli powder and mix
- Put both trays in the oven for 20 minutes
- Allow to cool and then mix both trays together and store in an airtight container
Bhel:
1.Mix all the ingredients and serve.
