This chocolate fondant also known as molten lava cake is amazing you can’t beat a gooey, oozing layer of melted chocolate! Its very additive and can be a perfect way to end the evening of some rich spicy dishes. It feeds about 4 but if you want more just double the ingredients. My previous attempts haven’t given the the correct ooziness in the centre, ie what makes a fondant a fondant [it means melting after all]. By freezing the chocolate first before putting it in the middle it basically it’s colder, it takes longer to cook and you get that ultimate ooze.
