These are my vegan waffles, super quick, very light and super tastey!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Self raising flour
- 1/4 tsp baking power
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup Soya Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp Sunflower Oil
- Any toppings Strawberries, ice-cream etc
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl add vanilla essence and mix through
- Pour about 1 cup of soya milk and oil
- Start whisking from the centre, gradually drawing the flour into the milk and oil. Once all the flour is incorporated, beat until you have a smooth, thick paste. Add a little more milk if it is too stiff to beat.
- Continue pouring and whisking until you have a batter that is the consistency of a smooth smashed banana
- Leave to cook, undisturbed, for about Cook in a waffle machine till goldern brown
- Serve with your favourite toppings
